Note! I now work mostly with my laptop and although it’s a fantastic (Unibody Macbook), I don’t trust it’s display enough to make any kind of color correction. So I’m shooting in JPEG (I usually shoot RAW) and just resize the images. My experiment with Tropic Marin Reef Actif backfired pretty badly; I’m still... »

Sometimes you just sit and go “Wow, I’m stupid!”

Updated tank information and new weekly photo
Update: I have stopped using GAC and Purigen in order to test a new filtration method that uses CaCO3 slurry combined with mechanical filtration. I’ll add more information about this method later. Also, I have stopped iodine and amino acid dosing as I have ramped up the microplankton feeding. »
